Proposal In July 2017, Scott and I went on a fantastic holiday to Orlando, Florida. I absolutely love Disney so I couldn't wait to spend every minute in the theme parks.

On the 9th of July I knew we were going to the Cinderella Castle restaurant for dinner. I couldn't wait because it looked beautiful and we had a late booking which meant we were inside the castle as the fireworks were going off. After we had enjoyed an amazing meal, Scott and I were sitting at our window seat table chatting and enjoying the champagne when he suddenly produced the most perfect ring and asked me to be his princess and spend the rest of my life with him. Of course I said yes.

Just after dinner one of the waitresses gave us our 'Happily Ever After' pins. I was so excited. I had seen these before but never thought I would get one. As we were leaving the castle it was all lit up and we were the only people walking through Main Street. It was magical.

Style Inspiration II always wanted to wear a princess dress on my Wedding day. I wanted to wear something simple, yet elegant. Ever dress I had looked at for inspiration had a large skirt and was paired with a long veil.

Shopping Experience From the minute I walked in Bijoux I knew that I wanted to buy my wedding dress there. The shop was just beautiful and all of the girls who work there were so friendly. My first experience in the shop was in early April, 2018. My mum and I loved picking out our favourite five dresses with the pegs, The very first wedding dress I ever tried on was the 'Julia' dress designed by Justin Alexander. I absolutely loved the material and the huge train that it had. The minute I put it on I loved it but felt that it was a little too heavy so I took it off and spent the next hour trying on lots of different dresses. When I left the shop that day I thought I was going to buy another dress but wasn't 100% sure.

For the next couple of months I thought about the 'Julia' dress and just couldn't get it out of my mind. I compared everything else I was trying on to it and nothing could beat it. So on the 9th July, exactly a year after I got engaged, I came back into Bijoux and tried on the 'Julia' dress again and instantly knew that it was the dress for me. The girls were amazing and knew exactly the right accessories I should add to make the dress my own. I picked out a satin trimmed cathedral length veil and another veil with sparkles through it and I just couldn't make up my mind so I was over the moon when I found out I could put them both together and customise my veil so it was perfect. I paired with it a gorgeous sparkly belt to finish the dress off.

Our Wedding We got married in my church, Our Lady of Lourdes in East Kilbride. Ever since I was a young girl I couldn't wait to get married and walk down the beautiful, large aisle. My wedding day was perfect from start to finish. I felt like a princess the minute I got my dress on and was so happy when I saw my beautfiul bridesmaids dressed in their gorgeous Morilee dresses, also from Bijoux. I always knew that my wedding colour was going to be blue, more specifically cornflower blue and their dresses were the perfect colour. I wore gorgeous light blue shoes under my dress to match in with our theme.

Our ceremony was perfect and I wouldn't change any of it. I loved walking down the aisle with my massive train behind me. It looked absolutely stunning.

After that we headed to The Radstone. Our tables were named after different Disney songs to match our engagement and our wedding co-ordinator, Emerald, surprised us by playing Disney songs throughout our meal. It was amazing.

During our reception I couldn't wait to spin around the dance floor with my husband and show off how gorgeous the skirt of my dress was.

My most special memory of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing Scott standing at the front of the Church waiting for me. When I saw his face the first time he saw me I knew I had made the right decision about my dress. He thought I looked like a princess and it was perfect. From that moment on I don't think either of us stopped smiling. It truly was the best day of my life.

Recommend Bijoux I recommend Bijoux to everyone I know. From the minute you walk through the door the girls are amazing. Each and everyone of them listen to what you are looking for and don't push their ideas onto you. Bijoux made dress shopping so much fun and stress free. The shop is absolutely beautiful and there are so many gorgeous dresses to choose from. As soon as you get into that changing room you feel so at ease and you know that the girls are going to do everything they can to find you your dream dress. Thank you so much for all of your help girls!
